  • Hometown: Wilson, NC
  • Years Living In Wilmington: 13
  • What Brought You To ILM? UNCW is what brought me here, but I stayed for this wonderful town and it's beautiful people, and of course the Coast!

Favorite Spots In Wilmington:

  • The Arboretum: a beautiful public garden where my three toddlers can explore freely and safely.
  • Any strip of sand on Carolina or Wrightsville beach. I feel we have some of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches on the East Coast.
  • Hugh McRae Park- In my opinion the best playground/park in Wilmington and my kids love the free Splash Pad area when the weather turns warm.

Local Spot Tourists Don't Know About ...

Castle Street Antique District- a small eclectic collection of restaurants, antique shops, and other unique stores off the beaten path in downtown Wilmington.

Unexpected Facts:

  • Before becoming a realtor/broker, I was a stay at home dad to four kids (including three under the age of three).
  • While attending UNCW, I was introduced to the sport of rugby which became not only a passion, but a way of life for many years.
  • My proudest professional accomplishment to date was being the first physical education teacher to be named rookie teacher of the year for the entire school district.

Why Do You Love Real Estate?

I get to use my love of teaching and education while empowering clients through the buying and selling process.

Most Unique Thing You've Seen In Real Estate:

The new Cargo District in Wilmington which is a housing complex built from old shipping containers. The tiny house craze has officially hit ILM!
