  • Nick-Name: PT
  • Hometown: Englewood, NJ
  • Years Living In Wilmington: 12
  • What Brought You To ILM? My best friend from high school invited me to visit her on Carolina Beach, Labor Day 2008. I fell in love with the southern hospitality. That same weekend I found an apt, job and moved to Wilmington 3 weeks later. I've never looked back.

Favorite Spots In Wilmington:

  • Cape Fear National Golf Course - the tee boxes make you feel like you're on top of the world.
  • Downtown - the cobblestone streets are as unique as the restaurants & shops that adorn the river and sidewalks.
  • Kure Beach Pier - I love walking the pier and taking in a glimpse into a fisherman's day.

Local Spot Tourists Don't Know About ...

Level 5 - Rooftop dancing bar with unforgettable city views and sunsets

Unexpected Facts:

  • Started my first business at 15 and called it "Greenery". High school friend and I pulled weeds and mowed lawns for $5/hour. We got jobs off the school bulletin board and borrowed Mom's Pinto (and mower) to get around to jobs.
  • Bought my first home at age 25 on the New Haven Ct river - with dock rights!
  • First real job after college was working at PC Magazine in NYC. My client list included calling on Bill Gates of Microsoft and Michael Dell of Dell Computing. They were by far the most progressive heads in the personal computing industry, yet no where near as famous as they are today. Knowing them at the beginning of the PC boom was the great takeaway.

Why Do You Love Real Estate?

Every home has a different story and most have great bones! I am in love with the investment model and have bought several for retirement. The people I've met and work with. Really they call this a job?

Most Unique Thing You've Seen In Real Estate:

The degree to which our community came together after hurricane Florence. Residents gave mercilessly to strangers by cooking meals, tarping roofs, taking trees down, carrying water and gas, taking in the homeless all way before insurance adjusters had come out, it was very humbling to be a part of. True southern hospitality.
